In the wake of the January 2010 earthquake, statistics suggest a looming epidemic of orphaned children in Haiti. Furthermore, many orphanages in Haiti care for orphans only until they are teenagers. As a result, many young people are left without the necessary life skills for adulthood.
Ephraim Orphan Project is different. We understand that the cycles of poverty in Haiti will not be overcome without advancing the skills and education of Haitian youths. We are committed to helping the orphans who come through our doors achieve university degrees or technical skills that advance themselves and their communities.
The orphanage will provide a strong family structure modeled after the way we believe Jesus Christ taught us to love: Unconditionally.
